Summary and Synopsis:

A thief named Shyamu (Amitabh Bachchan) who committed the theft of his career decides to go straight after the death of his mentor (Madan Puri). When he runs away from the police for a series of previous robberies, he ends up in town until he finds a poet named Deepak (and Amitabh Bachchan) and will help him. By taking the fact that Deepak's appearance is similar to that he decides to steal his identity by killing her. He returns to kill her however when she learns that Deepak is already dying of illness. After Deepak dies he decides to steal his identity card and inform the police that Deepak is actually stealing Sam. However, the police inspector (Ajit Khan) suspects that Sam is actually alive and proud as poet Deepak.

The change that is taking place now in the life of Deepak, a Syrian, is because of the singer and stage dancer, Mala Mumtaz (actor), she is so beautiful, woman and man, and romantic, being part of the same stage company, the Roop Kala Theater. For his part, he wants to complete his old identity fully but finds out that Deepak had a romantic interest in Rajni (Kumud Chhugani), [4] women's rights activist and daughter of the same millionaire, Seth Harnaam Das, to the House, who as Shyam thief, had made his last bull, but he had returned all the stolen items to the police, except for the ring that Mala had given him. He wants to return these letters from Rajni, who had written to Deepak, in fear, that the police would conduct a trial with him, along with Woos Rajni. Mala is surprised to find the same, and also for who she really is now Deepak the poet, from Inspector Kumar.

The story comes from the opening of the public eye, of the transformation of a person from a criminal course, to beauty, his acceptance of a noble goal, and it is the sum of Hindi cinema to be watched.
